Artist Guidelines
All work either displayed or sold must be your own original work. Plagiarism in any form will result in expulsion from the event.
General
No sale of food or drinks
You are responsible for your space
Clean up after yourself
Displays should be presentable
Your preferred name will be on a nameplate, please do not write on or edit your nameplate (unless there is a typo, in which case we will replace it for you)
Exhibiting Work
You are expected to fill your table (either half or full as you've requested)
If you do not want to display on a table (ex. Big painting) you will be expected to bring your own displays
ArtWorks is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged artwork
Selling work
You are expected to fill your table (either half or full as you’ve requested)
We highly recommend bringing extra pieces of art so that if you sell out, you can easily restock and sell more
We prefer you take payment in cash, but Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc. is also acceptable
Please make sure to bring change if taking cash payments, we cannot exchange money
You are required to keep track of all sales made.
We recommend keeping track on paper, but a digital spreadsheet is acceptable
All prices must be clearly marked. Prices may not increase while the event is in progress.
Etiquette
Do not interfere with the sale of others’ art
Behave in a way that is respectful and reflects the spirit of the event
If you are sharing a table with someone, do not encroach on their space
No shouting, playing loud music, aggressive marketing tactics, etc.
Failure to treat other artists and customers with respect will result in expulsion from the event
